Climate, Terroir & The Olfactory

This immersive 8 week program is designed to take the average wine lover to the next level. Hosted once a week, for 8 weeks, you'll spend 24 hours of classroom time with our team and taste over 100 outstanding wines. While there's a substantial theoretical component, we'll be devoting the majority of our time and resources to the art of tasting, improving and honing our sensory skills (you know, the fun stuff).

Throughout the course, you'll gain a greater understanding of the science of tasting, the principal growing regions of the world, how climate affects these regions, the influence of terroir and how to assess quality in wine (unbiasedly). Beyond this, you’ll become proficient in blind tasting, and developing your ability to smell and taste.

This course acts as an amazing opportunity for all who wish to take their wine skills to the next level. As well, for those wishing to pursue the Certified CAPS Program, it also acts as the prerequisite to begin that journey.​

We've partnered with the amazing Chef's Paradise team, and will be hosting our Fall program at their location at 1314 Bank St, Ottawa, ON K1S 3Y4.

Breakdown of costs: $200/week = $1600 for 8 weeks + $208.00 HST = Total course fee: $1808 CAD

As part of our continued collaboration, a portion of tuition goes to the CAPS Ontario Non-profit.
